DogDog Beauty Salon

I know this post isn't about bike riding, but I couldn't resist. This is our 10 year old Cairn Terrier mix CeCe. Can you tell she doesn't like getting her picture taken?

CeCe is a rescue dog from the SPCA who joined our family last October as a companion for this one, Belle:

Belle is also 10 years old; she's a Doberman/Beagle mix, and is an SPCA rescue as well. She's also completely neurotic! Actually she's a pretty good dog, she just has separation anxiety. When our old dog Deputy died two years ago, Belle had a hard time being alone. She would bark or howl non-stop, try to shred the carpet and throw up or pee everywhere. We tried medications, herbs, exercise, food puzzles, special training, everything! Finally we got CeCe, and Belle has done much better. Not perfect (of course), but better.

Anyway, CeCe definitely needed a haircut! Without further ado, a before and after:



Obviously she doesn't like getting her picture taken any more after her haircut then she did before it. (And yes, she's on the table)

She goes to Petsmart for her grooming, which for some reason we've taken to calling the DogDog Beauty Salon. Ok, I'm the only one who calls it that, I confess. But it sounds better than Petsmart Grooming Salon, don't you think?
